Portraits & Headshots

We offer quality portraiture for both professional and personal needs, including book jackets, web pages, speaking engagements, media requests and more. Traditional studio portraiture, as well as environmental and specialty portraiture at your preferred location, are both available. The service is offered during regular business hours, by appointment only.

Backgrounds

Available portrait backgrounds for portraits include the standard blue, stark white, grey, black or beige.

What to Wear

Classic fashion choices can keep portraits timeless. We recommend that you wear solid- and/or muted-colored clothing. Try to stay away from busy patterns and textured fabrics. Show your style in small accents, and save stronger colors and patterns for accessories like jewelry, scarves or ties. Keep the background color in mind when selecting your outfit to make sure it won’t clash.

Department Headshots

We can also accommodate departments needing large number of faculty and staff portraits at once. We schedule your department in for a block (or blocks) of time, either at our studio or at a location of your choice and use consistent lighting and presentation for all shots. Rates are based on shooting 20 to 30 subjects per hour, with two to three images taken of each subject.

Student Portrait Packages

By appointment only

Capture a classic graduation memento with a traditional portrait! Be sure to bring your special academic tassel, or cords; organization sash/stole or decorated cap. Bring other accessories to create that complete individual moment. Appointments last approximately 30 minutes in the studio. There is plenty of time to get a variety of poses, including a few in your dress wear for professional headshots for resumes and applications.

Spotlight Portraits

Professional photos can open doors and put you in the spotlight, especially if you plan on a career in the performing arts. We offer professional-quality black and white and color headshots to accommodate a variety of needs. We can do a traditional sitting in our studio or meet you at a location of your choice.
